Pylade · Sheet reread on .
Key points
Before an absence, prepare a sheet with the dates, agreed accesses, accessible rooms, plants to water and contact to prevent. Distinguish the regular visits to prepare your return. A visit to Pylade covers the tasks and visible findings agreed to in the estimate; it does not replace a permanent monitoring or security service.
A list of points to check
Define accessible rooms, plants to water, mail to be recovered and visible anomalies to report. Avoid vague instructions: a precise list makes visits more useful.
Good contacts
Provide contact details and contact details for your regular service providers. Define who decides and authorizes an intervention if a problem is identified.
Before you return
Consolidate the needs for cleaning, laundry and preparation of exteriors. Confirm your arrival date to arrange the last passages.
The card to leave before leaving
- Note the period of absence and the desired dates for visits.
- Define how keys are to be handed over and returned; do not send a sensitive access code in the first request for quotation.
- List accessible parts and expected visual checks.
- Indicate the plant watering per plant, with the location of the material.
- Specify where to drop the mail and what to report.
- Leave a contactable number and a second contact if you are difficult to reach.
- Define who can decide on an additional intervention.
- Separately prepare the necessary cleaning or laundry before your return.
A visit sees what is visible at the time of passage. It does not replace permanent supervision or security. In case of anomaly, the role of the person on the spot and the contacts to be prevented must be agreed in advance.
Practical questions before intervention
- How often do you plan visits during an absence?
- The frequency depends on the duration of absence and the actual tasks: watering, mail, ventilation or preparation of an arrival. Describe the plants and points to check to agree on a program. A visit shall observe the situation at the time of the visit and shall not guarantee the detection of any incident between visits.
- How do we distinguish between maintenance and home monitoring?
- Cleaning, watering and agreed visible controls are maintenance tasks. They are not a security service. For accommodation located in France, consult separately the conditions of the Operation tranquillity holiday with the police or gendarmerie. This public scheme is not a Pylade service and does not automatically apply to Monaco.

Public service — Operation quiet holiday
The official sheet specifies the conditions and the procedure for this public scheme in France. It makes it possible to distinguish this monitoring from the maintenance visits proposed by Pylade.
A worksheet for your home
Use this template to gather instructions and the details to agree in your quote. It does not describe a completed visit. Share access codes and sensitive information only through the agreed channel after confirmation.
